Just when you thought it was safe to go visiting (or borrowing someone's pool for the afternoon ... whatever!). Anyway, we turn the corner of the house and see this . . .

Turns out the Cabana boy was doing his duty for the Queen and giving her a badly needed pedicure. It was fascinating to watch, as neither seemed to know how to work those strange contraptions that go around one's toes!

The end result was the best though. And the Queen swears it is holding up to this day - guess there is so much paint on there - it isn't going to come off without a hammer and chisel!

Meanwhile - Hot Dog and The Diva were happily enjoying the pool - and I was stuck listening and watching, in horror . . .

Little boys earn their time in the pool

Even though it has lots of hail in it and is ice cold - he has earned his time in the pool! Besides, if he wasn't down at your place in the pool, he would have been home bugging me and laughing at the WII Fit, which was making fun of me!

Neighborhood's a Changin' - Bikers in Da HOUSE !

Maybe it was all that hail the other day but it appears that Hell has frozen OVER. Look what has happened to this neighborhood!



So after The Rebel Lesbian got all the wheelies out of his system we took a ride down to the park where they have some lovely benches for those of us who are just getting used to biking can rest a moment.

Captain Underpants, you should grab Mrs. Clean and your son Gordie Howe and get on your bikes and come on back to the old 'hood. It's all New and IMPROVED !

What the HAIL !?

We've been having quite the weather here on Mad Street! I hear that it will be like this most of the summer. I haven't been using that pool much but all that ice that got added to it didn't stop Hot Dog from coming over and jumping in soon after the lightning stopped.

The Grassland

The Cabana Boy has been hard at work creating his new garden of grasses.

Of course it was very important that it be documented that The Queen,despite all the that some might like to believe, does in fact, help out. Who ever refuses to believe it can KISS MY GRASS 'cause here's the proof!

A Good Day Fishin'...

Is almost like a hard days work! With all the White Bass that were caught Cap'n Walleye(Mr. White Bass?)/Cabana boy needed to call in the reinforcements to help clean them all!

Huggles and the Rebel Lesbian were called in as reinforcements. of course that rebel pretty much just supervised and made sure that cold beers were delivered in a timely manner while at the same time teaching the kids how the finger is to be used properly. Huggles' friends learned how one can go about getting their heads ripped of and shit down their necks. I think that may have been the last time I saw poor little Ashley. Is she afraid of this neighborhood now?

Season Opener

In an effort to help bring summer to our neighborhood (or was it to save time by not having to jump into the shower after gardening ?) the Cabana boy or Captain or whatever his name is thought that he should open the pool and begin using it. Considering that the nights had been rather frigid, and the days not all that much warmer, I thought that this would be something that needed documentation in order to explain the frostbite on the balls that I was was sure he would get.

We All Float Down Here!

What a beautiful day we all had when we went kayaking at Lover's Key. Granted, it can be rather uncomfortable when you can't get your fat ass situated. But the real pain starts many hours later, as you try to sleep with lower back pain that just doesn't allow it. But hey, according to these pictures it was all worth it!

Off we go into the wild blue yonder!

What a lovely palmtree backdrop. So cool being out in the wilderness like this. All alone just like on survivor. Hey! Did I just see people walking right there? It's a walking trail just over the mangoves?!

These darn mangroves can sure come up on you fast!

The Capn's boat shrunk!

The dolphin that jumped behind the Queen's kayak as it zoomed through the water is here somewhere! It keeps jumping but it's just too quick for the camera to catch

I think it just might be a retired Sea World dolphin since it responds to applause!

What a grand time we all had! Same time next year?

So, what's a few clouds on the beach when you are among good friends and lots of bars?

Wow, the pier and beach sure take on a different look when it's not crowded with all kinds of people!

Enough of those Rum Runners! There isn't even enough room in the suitcase for the ones I need to bring back from the last visit!

Hmmm, I don't know, Maybe I COULD live here.
